Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run TachlisDaily:
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
- Contact form: your name, email address and message.
- Simcha submissions: your name, email, phone and the simcha details you send. Your contact details are used only to verify the submission and are never published.
- Site usage: anonymous page views, the page title and the visitor's country. We do not use this to identify individual readers.
How we use it
- To send the newsletters you signed up for.
- To answer your messages and review submitted content.
- To understand which stories are popular and improve the site.
- To count how often ads are shown and clicked, without tracking individual readers.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the site and send email, and only as needed to do that work.
Cookies and local storage
We use small amounts of browser storage to keep the site working, for example to remember which stories you liked and to keep staff signed in. Embedded videos from YouTube may set their own cookies under YouTube's policies.
Unsubscribing and your choices
Every newsletter includes a personal unsubscribe link. You can also email us at tips@tachlisdaily.com to have your email or submission details removed.
Children
TachlisDaily is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. Questions? Write to tips@tachlisdaily.com or use our contact page.
