The 401st Brigade Combat Team of the IDF executed a targeted raid on the ‘Abu Said’ Compound, the training ground for the Hamas Tel al-Sultan Battalion in Rafah. Soldiers found the office of the Battalion Commander, Mahmoud Hamdan, weapons storage, and several tunnel shafts, which are now being destroyed.

Concurrently, they also dismantled a military compound used for training Hamas operatives, seizing large quantities of weapons and intelligence documents. The operation is part of ongoing efforts by the 162nd Division to eliminate terrorist infrastructure in the area.
