Lakewood’s simcha infrastructure is expanding with the addition of two new chasunah halls, Ateres Blima and Ateres Esther, scheduled to open at the end of June in Lakewood. Sponsored by local Askanim and Gvirim including the Schron Family, the new halls will become the 10th and 11th wedding venues in Lakewood, where existing halls are consistently booked with an average of 200 weddings per year.
The new initiative will offer a complete wedding package for $13,000, covering all major expenses including the hall rental, catering, singer, musician, photographer, videographer, and floral arrangements, with no hidden fees. Catering will be provided by Glatt Gourmet. The two new halls are located adjacent to three other halls on Oak Street, becoming a central hub for local weddings. Bookings are already being accepted ahead of the anticipated opening.
It is hoped that the addition of these new halls will help ease the current shortage of available wedding dates and, with increased supply, may also lead to more competitive pricing across other venues in town.
