Tucker Carlson Stirs Nuclear War Alarm With Unverified Iran Strike Claim
Carlson's 54-million-view X post offers no verifiable evidence. Neither the White House nor Israel has confirmed it.

Tucker Carlson set off a wave of alarm online Sunday night with a lengthy post on X claiming the Trump administration "may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran." The post has drawn more than 54 million views.
Carlson says the target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, and that "the only military option is a nuclear strike." He blames pressure from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and cites an unnamed "informed observer" who says "Bibi calls Trump about it every day." He also claims Trump will decide by Nov. 7 and predicts World War III if a strike happens.
Carlson provided no documents, no on-the-record officials and no other verifiable evidence. His account rests on unnamed sources. Reports say neither the White House nor Israel has confirmed it. A White House official said the administration does not comment on sensitive military plans, and that Trump is keeping all options open to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.
President Trump has publicly said the opposite about nuclear weapons. In a mid-October Newsmax interview he said, "No, I wouldn't use nuclear. We don't have to." On Saturday, Trump said the U.S. still has to "take care" of one or two Iranian nuclear sites, saying "We can do that in 10 minutes. We have that planned." He did not say nuclear weapons would be used.
Iran denies any nuclear activity at the Pickax Mountain complex.
