President Donald Trump sat down with Benny Johnson for an interview on The Benny Show, weighing in on Cuba, Venezuela, Iran and the country's cultural shifts.

Asked about the chances that the Castros will still be in charge of Cuba two years from now, Trump said: "I would say it's not going to last much longer. Look, it's a failed country. We're going to get people back there very soon... we're watching Cuba very closely."

Trump pointed to his administration's posture elsewhere in the region and beyond: "Look at what we did with Venezuela," he said, and on Iran: "They're never going to have a nuclear weapon... Their navy's gone, their air force is gone, their anti-aircraft is gone."

The president also reacted to being told that LeBron James is now standing for the national anthem, recalling his past criticism of the NBA star: "I just didn't appreciate what he did... practicing his golf swing during the national anthem. That wasn't so good." Told James has "changed," Trump responded: "That's nice. I'm glad to hear."
