A devastating car crash in Brooklyn on Shabbos afternoon claimed the lives of a mother and her two young daughters as they walked home from shul.
The fatal accident occurred on Ocean Parkway near Kings Highway when an Audi rear-ended a Toyota Camry operating as an Uber. The impact sent the Audi into the crosswalk, where the victims were walking with the right of way.
Mrs Sara Saada A”h and her daughters, seven-year-old Diana A”h and five-year-old Debra A”h, were tragically niftar. Her four-year-old son, Pinchas Raphael, was critically injured and is in urgent need of our Tefillos. His tehillim name is Pinchos Rafael Ben Sara.
Hatzalah volunteers from Flatbush and Boro Park rushed to the scene, alongside emergency responders. Misaskim and CSE members were on scene assisting in ensuring proper Kavod Ha’Meis.
In total nine others suffered injuries, including passengers from both vehicles. The Audi’s driver, who was operating on a suspended license, was taken to Coney Island Hospital for evaluation, including a DUI test.
Mayor Eric Adams called the crash “extremely concerning and painful” and offered condolences to the grieving community.
