Tesla Launches Revamped Model Y in the U.S. Starting at $60,000

Tesla is set to begin deliveries of a redesigned Model Y SUV in the U.S. by March, priced at $59,990, excluding a potential federal tax credit of $7,500. This new version, dubbed the Model Y Juniper, boasts updated features including a refreshed exterior, a more advanced interior with ventilated and reclining seats, and improved Wi-Fi capabilities.

Tesla is aiming to boost its sales amid increased competition and a dip in overall deliveries in 2024. The launch of the Model Y comes after the successful rollout of the Cybertruck, as CEO Elon Musk navigates his growing political influence, including substantial backing for President Trump’s 2024 campaign, which may affect future EV tax incentives.
