Kids on camp trips know to bring nosh, but there’s always someone who forgets, feeling left out while others enjoy treats. Though some kids may share, many are left on the sidelines.
To combat this, we launched the Gitty Nosh initiative in memory of Gitty Greenberg a”h, who encouraged her kids to bring extra nosh for those who forgot. Now, we want every child in Lakewood to have a special trip nosh, ensuring no one feels left out.
How it works:
- Buy special nosh for your kid’s trip and an extra one for Gitty Nosh (no more than $1).
- Give the extra nosh to your child, explaining its purpose.
- Your child looks out for anyone who might need it, learning to care for others.
- Everyone wins with more smiles and fewer tears!
