Storm tracker Brandon Copic captured footage of a tornado moving through Belcher, Louisiana, Tuesday morning, FOX Weather reported. The network identified Copic as its exclusive storm tracker as severe weather moved through the area.

An archived National Weather Service Shreveport warning placed a tornado-producing storm over Belcher at 10:27 a.m. Central, about 21 miles northwest of Bossier City. The bulletin described the source as a radar-confirmed tornado and said the storm was moving northeast at 25 mph.

The warning covered northwestern Bossier and northwestern Caddo parishes through 11 a.m. Central. Plain Dealing, Belcher, Gilliam and Cavett were among the locations listed in its path. Those details describe the morning warning, not a new alert for later in the day.

The bulletin warned that flying debris would be dangerous to people without shelter and that mobile homes, roofs, windows, vehicles and trees could be damaged. Those were potential impacts identified in the warning, not a confirmed damage assessment.

The FOX Weather post and warning bulletin used for this report did not provide a verified injury total or a final tornado strength rating. Readers in the region should check current local weather alerts rather than rely on the expired morning warning.
