Amazon and Uber launched a partnership Thursday that lets U.S. Prime members order restaurant delivery through Amazon.com and the Amazon Shopping app, powered by Uber Eats.

Prime members get a $0 delivery fee on eligible restaurant orders of $25 or more placed through Amazon. The benefit applies to delivery fees, not the cost of the food, and offers remain subject to eligibility and availability.

Amazon said members can begin ordering without downloading a new app or creating an Uber account. The service connects customers with restaurants on the Uber Eats network in nearly 10,000 U.S. cities and towns.

An introductory promotion offers $20 off the first two eligible Uber Eats orders of $25 or more during the first 14 days. Prime Visa cardmembers can also earn 5% back on Uber Eats orders through December 5, 2026, under the announced promotion.

Amazon estimates that the delivery-fee benefit and exclusive promotions could save a member more than $175 a year. That is an estimate based on typical ordering patterns, not a guaranteed saving for every household.

TechCrunch reported that the partnership replaces Amazon's Grubhub arrangement, which ends Thursday. Members who already activated Grubhub+ can still use that membership through December 31, 2027, the outlet reported. The new Uber Eats benefit includes eligible Prime for Young Adults and Prime Access members.
