The settlement, whose terms remain confidential, prevents a high-stakes trial that could have posed significant financial risks for the small, pro-Trump network. This case is one of several related to election misinformation, with similar settlements involving Fox News and One America News earlier.

Newsmax still faces another lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems over similar claims.
