New Dashcam Video Shows Red Motorcycle Driving Toward Bachurim in Lakewood
A rider drove onto the Route 9 sidewalk near Todd Plaza Monday afternoon, according to a report. It has not been confirmed whether the rider was involved in that night's separate harassment incident.
A red motorcycle drove onto a sidewalk near Todd Plaza in Lakewood Monday afternoon, forcing three bachurim to jump out of its path, The Lakewood Scoop reported Tuesday with dashcam video.
The incident took place on Route 9 around 1:50 to 2 p.m. According to the report, the motorcycle then sped through the shopping plaza's parking lot and nearly struck other people.
The report follows a separate incident Monday night in which a motorcyclist reportedly ran a red light, harassed a bachur and chased him in Lakewood.
The Lakewood Scoop said it has not confirmed whether the rider in the afternoon incident was the same person involved in the nighttime incident. The two incidents should not be treated as linked based on the motorcycle's color alone.
