Israeli Startup Says Its Technology Cuts Radiation Inside Cars
SafeFields says its active magnetic-field cancellation system reduces electromagnetic fields inside electric and hybrid vehicles.

Israeli startup SafeFields says it has developed technology that reduces low-frequency magnetic fields inside electric and hybrid vehicles by generating an opposing field.
The company describes its approach as active field cancellation. Sensors measure the fields produced by a vehicle's electrical systems, while a control unit adjusts a counteracting field as conditions change.
SafeFields says the system can be customized for different vehicle models and installed after manufacture without changing the vehicle's layout or compromising its performance.
The Herzliya-based company was founded in 2021 by Oded Einat and Shaul Shulman. Ynet reported in October that SafeFields had signed an agreement with automotive supplier Veoneer and was working on prototypes with a European automaker.
These are company claims about reducing measured magnetic fields, not proof of a health benefit. Reducing a field measurement does not by itself establish that a product prevents illness or makes a vehicle safer.
