The IDF announced Monday morning that its ten-day counterterrorism operation in Hebron has been completed and that soldiers have withdrawn from the area of operation.

"This morning, following the completion of all operational activities, the soldiers withdrew from the area of operation in Hebron. Counterterrorism activities throughout Judea and Samaria continue," an IDF official said.

The operation, carried out primarily by the IDF's Judea Brigade, targeted terror infrastructure in the city over ten days. With the operation's conclusion, the brigade shifts back to its defensive mission in the area.

The completion comes days before Parshas Chayei Sarah, when tens of thousands of visitors are expected in Hebron for the annual Shabbos gathering at the Me'aras Hamachpelah.
