Yemen's Houthis claimed Tuesday that they carried out separate drone and ballistic-missile attacks on an airport and an airbase in Saudi Arabia, according to reports by Dawn and Shafaq News.

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said a drone targeted Abha International Airport and claimed the strike disrupted air traffic. He said a ballistic missile separately targeted Khamis Mushait Airbase.

Saree described both strikes as successful. Those assertions were the group's account, not independently verified findings. The reports did not establish the extent of any damage or casualties.

Saudi authorities did not immediately respond to the claims, Shafaq News reported. The available reporting did not include Saudi confirmation that either target had been struck or that operations at Abha airport had been disrupted.
