El Al plans to operate 63 weekly flights between Israel and the Americas under its upcoming summer schedule beginning in late March. The airline says the schedule will offer about 35,000 seats a week and will be its largest-ever summer operation in the region.

The New York area will account for 36 weekly flights serving John F. Kennedy International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport, with up to seven flights on some days.

Miami is set to receive nine weekly flights, two more than the airline's previously planned summer schedule. Los Angeles will also have nine weekly flights. Boston will have four weekly flights, San Francisco three direct flights, and Buenos Aires two.

Together, the schedule covers seven airports in six metropolitan areas. The total refers to weekly service frequencies across the network, not 63 daily flights.

The airline says the expansion is intended to meet business and leisure travel demand and improve links with Jewish and Israeli communities across the Americas. Additional Boeing 787 deliveries will support the expanded operation.

Flights covered by the announcement will offer economy, premium and business classes and the airline's Dreamliner cabin experience. El Al also highlighted onward connections available through its partnership with Delta Air Lines.

The announcement describes the planned summer schedule, rather than an immediate increase in this week's flights. Travelers should check their specific route and travel date when booking, as frequencies can vary by day and season.
