Costco reported $24.50 billion in net sales for its retail month of October, an increase of 12.6% from $21.75 billion a year earlier.

The figures cover the four weeks ended Nov. 1, 2026, rather than the calendar month. For the first nine weeks, net sales reached $54.52 billion, up 12.8% from $48.33 billion.

Comparable sales for the four-week period rose 11.1% across the company. U.S. comparable sales increased 12.6%, Canada rose 4.9% and other international markets gained 9.4%.

Excluding changes in gasoline prices and foreign exchange, companywide comparable sales increased 7.3%. On that basis, the U.S. rose 8.1%, Canada increased 3.5% and other international markets gained 6.9%.

For the nine-week period, companywide comparable sales rose 11.3%, or 7.5% excluding gasoline price changes and foreign exchange.

The Issaquah, Washington-based warehouse retailer released the figures Wednesday. The sales release did not give reasons for the changes.
