Baby Brezza is recalling about 29,000 SuperFast Sterilizer Dryers in the United States because the appliances can overheat while plugged in and operating, creating a burn risk. About 4,500 additional units were sold in Canada.

The recall covers model numbers BRZ0083, BRZ0154 and BRZ0156. Owners can find the model number on the label underneath the unit. The countertop appliances sterilize and dry baby bottles, breast pump parts and accessories in a ten-minute cycle.

The company has received 32 reports of overheating or melting plastic housings. No injuries have been reported. The affected units were sold from January 2024 through October 2026 for about $160 to $180 at TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores and online through Baby Brezza, Target and Babylist.

Owners should stop using the recalled appliance immediately, turn it off and unplug it, even if it appears to work normally. Baby Brezza says to keep it in a safe, dry place away from flammable materials while arranging a replacement.

Baby Brezza is offering a free replacement, including shipping. Owners should register through the company's recall page and provide a photo of the model label; no receipt is required. The company will send a return authorization number and instructions for disabling and disposing of the recalled unit. Owners should follow those instructions after their claim is confirmed, rather than discard the appliance before registering.
