Apple's redesigned iPad mini begins arriving to customers and goes on sale in stores Friday, November 6, bringing an OLED display and the company's A20 Pro chip to its smallest tablet.

Apple announced the model on October 26 and opened preorders on October 28. The launch is now one day away, with availability through Apple stores and authorized resellers in 36 countries and regions, including the United States.

The new model has an 8.5-inch OLED display in a thinner and lighter design. Apple says narrower bezels allow a larger screen while keeping the same footprint as the previous iPad mini. A nano-texture display option is also available.

The A20 Pro chip brings faster graphics and on-device artificial-intelligence processing. The tablet runs iPadOS 27 and includes a 12-megapixel Center Stage front camera on the landscape edge, faster wireless connectivity and fast-charge support.

The iPad mini is available in midnight and starlight finishes with 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of storage. U.S. prices start at $699 for the Wi-Fi model and $849 for Wi-Fi plus cellular connectivity.

Apple also added IP67-rated water and dust resistance. The company cautions that resistance can decrease with normal wear and that liquid damage is not covered under warranty.
