Apple Reportedly Readies Three New iPads for Early 2027, Including First OLED iPad Air
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports a new iPad Air with OLED, a faster base iPad and a vapor-chamber iPad Pro are due in the first half of 2027 - none of them announced by Apple.

Apple is preparing to refresh most of its iPad lineup in the first half of 2027, with a new iPad Air, a new base iPad and a new iPad Pro all in the pipeline, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports. None of the products has been announced by Apple.
The next iPad Air would get its first OLED display, a major upgrade for a model that has not seen a significant refresh in years, along with a likely jump to Apple's M5 chip and a higher starting price, reportedly around $799 to $899 for the 11-inch model.
The base iPad, last updated in early 2025, would move to the A19 chip with 8GB of RAM, bringing Apple Intelligence support to Apple's cheapest tablet for the first time, along with improved networking hardware.
The iPad Pro would add a vapor-chamber cooling system like the one in the iPhone 17 Pro, with a new chipset, likely M6 or M7, and few other changes reported.
The report follows Apple's debut this past week of a refreshed iPad mini with an OLED display.
