Today, on the 5th of Shvat, is the Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Yehuda Aryeh Leib Alter (1847-1905).

Raised by his grandfather, the Chidushei Harim. Became Admor of Ger at the age of 23. Built up Ger as the largest pre-Holocaust Chassidic group in Poland.
