Today, on the 14th of Shvat, is the Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Yaakov Yehoshua Falk Katz, the Pnei Yehoshua (1680-1756).

Rav in Lemburg, Berlin, Mez & Frankfort. Wrote his famous sefer on Shas after being saved from a burning building.
