Today, on the 15th of Cheshvan, is the Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Avraham Yeshaya Karelitz, the Chazon Ish (1878-1953). He was the Posek Hador in his time.

Mechaber of the set of 23 volumes Sefer Chazon Ish that runs the gamut of the entire Torah, especially the Halachos pertaining to Eretz Yisrael. He was buried in the Bnei Brak cemetery.
