Today, on the 1st of Av, is the Yahrtzeit of Aharon HaKohen, the first Kohen Gadol (1272 B.C.E.).

Interesting fact: Aharon HaKohen is the only Yahrtzeit explicitly mentioned in the Torah (Bamidbar 33:38).
