Yesterday, on the 15th of Adar, was the 3rd Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Shmaryahu Yosef Chaim Kanievsky (1928-2022).

Son of the Steipler Gaon and son in law of Rav Elyashiv. While he held no formal position, Rav Chaim, the Saar HaTorah, was considered the Gadol HaDor of our time.
