Today, on the 3rd of Elul, is the Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Shraga Feivel Mendlowitz(1886-1948).

Rebbe & Menahel in Torah Vodaas. Founded Torah Umesorah with a goal of setting up day schools in every major city in America.

In his later years he founded his Beis Hamidrash l’Mechanchim in Monsey, NY.
