Today, on the 17th of Tammuz, is the Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Shmuel Yaakov Weinberg (1923-1999).

He was the Rosh Yeshiva of Ner Yisroel (Toronto & Baltimore) and a member of Vaad Roshei Hayeshivos of Torah Umesorah.
