“Bigdoil Zeroyachu”: A Dream-Inspired Debut by Zingeri Choir

Our new Studio Choir, Zingeri, proudly presents its first release, “Bigdoil Zeroyachu,” a melody deeply rooted in friendship and dreams. Composed by Gershy’s Chavrusa, Elie Weil, this song’s journey to creation is as unique as its sound.

This song is particularly meaningful to me because I met Elie at Lipa Schmeltzer’s house while I was helping him build his studio, which I creatively named “Studyio.” In search of a proficient sound proofer, I discovered Elie’s company TMS, and he was the consultant who visited. Needing a ride home, Elie kindly offered one, sparking our connection. I proposed the idea of becoming chavrusas, and he was immediately on board.

He shared “Bigdoil Zeroyachu” with me, a song he says was inspired by a dream. Sick during Yom Kippur, he dreamt of people singing the powerful line “Tipoil Aleihem Amasa Vafachad,” a moment that deeply resonated with him. Since then, our partnership in learning has only grown stronger. Initially, Elie would visit my studio in the evenings, but we’ve since switched to early morning sessions.

Recently, I launched my new Studio Choir, Zingeri, and suggested “Bigdoil Zeroyachu” as our debut song. Featuring Chaim Shaya, Elie’s brother and a renowned UK singer, I initially laid down the guide vocals. Despite not seeing myself as a singer, Elie and Chaim Shaya convinced me to include my vocals in the final version. The choir primarily features close friends and members of Zingeri, including my brother Duvid, my friend Isaac Gluck, and my social media videographer, Yossi Fulop. Laiby Scher and Nuchem Hecht also contributed to the song, enriching its sound and meaning.
Meeting Elie through a mutual project, we quickly bonded over music and learning.
