Tachlis Halachic Clarification: When Bread Can Be Eaten Without Washing

A common misconception in Halacha is that bread can be eaten without washing if it’s not touched.

In reality, if the hands are fully covered (e.g., with gloves), washing is not required, but only if water isn’t available within 72 minutes of travel in that direction.
