A group of community members from the Bensalem Jewish Outreach Center in Bensalem, PA, spent a day immersed in the vibrant world of Torah learning at Beth Medrash Govoha (BMG) in Lakewood, NJ.

Led by Rabbi Moshe Travitsky, the group participated in “Yeshiva for a Day” which offered a unique glimpse into the daily life of BMG’s yeshiva students. The visitors toured the sprawling yeshiva campus, engaging in learning with the Yungerleit and gaining insight into their rigorous studies.

The highlight of the visit was a warm welcome from Harav Malkiel Kotler, Rosh Hayeshiva of BMG. Rabbi Kotler shared words of inspiration and encouragement, emphasizing the importance of Torah learning and community engagement.

Following their Yeshiva tour, the group visited the Hatzolah Station, where they learned about the critical work of this volunteer emergency medical services organization.

The day’s events concluded with a lavish lunch at Southside Sandwich, where the visitors had the opportunity to relax and socialize with their hosts.

The “Yeshiva for a Day” program is a experience that fosters a great understanding and appreciation for the world of Torah learning. Rabbi Travitsky and the Bensalem Jewish Outreach Center expressed their gratitude to BMG for hosting this enriching experience.
