New York City Mayor Eric Adams Faces Possible Indictment Over Alleged Email Server Misuse and Disappeared Records

New York City Mayor Eric Adams, known for his criticism of President Biden, is under federal investigation for allegedly using a private email server and the disappearance of records from his trips to China.

The FBI and Manhattan federal prosecutors are examining at least one trip funded partially by the Chinese Communist Party during his time as Brooklyn Borough President. This investigation is part of a broader probe into alleged public corruption involving Adams and his adviser Winnie Greco.

Adams reportedly used personal email accounts, such as [email protected], from 2014 to 2021, before his mayoral tenure, which left little trace of his meetings in China. Celebrated initially by Washington and Biden after his election, Adams became a subject of FBI scrutiny following his criticism of Biden’s handling of the migrant crisis in New York.
