Judge Denies Effort to Block Elon Musk’s $1 Million Voter Giveaway in Swing States Amid Legal Controversy

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner’s attempt to halt a daily $1 million giveaway organized by Elon Musk’s political action committee, America PAC, was blocked by a judge on Monday.

Krasner argued that the promotion, targeting voters in Pennsylvania and other swing states, constitutes an illegal lottery intended to benefit Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election against Kamala Harris.

The district attorney, testifying in court, described the initiative as a “scam” and “grift,” adding that the PAC specifically selects recipients aligned with its views rather than picking winners randomly.

Musk’s team countered that the recipients are chosen to act as PAC spokespeople, not through a lottery, and defended the legality of the arrangement under free speech protections.

Although Judge Angelo Foglietta denied Krasner’s request for an injunction, the district attorney’s broader civil suit continues, with Krasner asserting that the PAC’s operations violate both Pennsylvania’s lottery and consumer protection laws.
