Israeli defense contractor Rafael Advanced Defense Systems has conducted its second successful test of the Iron Beam short-range laser defense system.

The system, designed to defend against drones, rockets, and mortars, is expected to enter active service by late 2025 and serve as Israel’s final line of defense in its air defense array.
