Baruch Dayan Ha’emes, we regret to inform you of the petirah of Chacham Rav Shalom Shmueli ZT”L, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Hamekubalim Nahar Shalom.

He was a great mekubal and hidden tzaddik, niftar on Shabbos. Known for his humble occupation as a shoemaker near Machane Yehuda Shuk, Rabbi Shmueli was close to many chassidish Rebbe’s such as the Belzer Rebbe Shlit”a.

His levaya was held at Yeshiva Porat Yosef in Geula with kevura in the Bais Hachaim in Sanhedria. Watch replay of the levaya here.
