American Airlines has indefinitely suspended flights to Tel Aviv, citing the need to provide travelers with “certainty when planning travel.”
In a statement shared with DansDeals, the airline confirmed it last operated a flight to Israel on October 6, 2023, and is now offering affected customers options to rebook with partner airlines or cancel for a refund.
American joins United in halting flights to Israel indefinitely, while Air Canada and Delta have scheduled their return for April 1, 2025. Until then, El Al will be the only airline offering nonstop service between North America and Israel.
