According to basic Halacha, non-Jews cannot be invited to eat on Yom Tov, even if no extra cooking is required. This is due to the concern that one might cook on their behalf, which is prohibited on Yom Tov.
However, for Shabbos, where cooking is not allowed anyway, non-Jews can be invited. Non-Jews who are part of the household, such as housekeepers or home aids, can eat on Yom Tov without concern that extra food will be prepared for them.
