Costco Opens in Okinawa-Japan, Attracts Huge Crowds

The first Costco store in Okinawa, Japan, opened its doors on August 24, drawing massive crowds and reaching maximum capacity within hours. Despite opening 3.5 hours earlier than scheduled, shoppers faced a 5-hour wait to enter the store. The parking lot was packed, with cars wrapping around the block.

The new store, located in Nanjo City, offers a range of products, including Japanese grocery items and American favorites. The snack bar, known for its affordable pizza and hot dogs, is also open.

With its convenient location and bulk shopping options, Costco Okinawa is expected to be a popular destination for locals and visitors alike.
