An important gathering is taking place tonight at Ateres Chaya, 1415 54th Street in Brooklyn (Boro Park).
Hosted by Agudas Yisroel’s “KnowUs” division, the event will focus on the crucial theme of “Dina D’malchusa Dina.” Attendees will hear from esteemed speakers, including Harav Avrohom Schorr, shlita, Rav of Bais Medrash Nezer Gedalyahu; Harav Binyomin Eisenberger, shlita, Rav of Bais Medrash Heichal Hatfilla; Rabbi Aaron Lipskar, Chief Executive Officer of the Aleph Institute; and renowned criminal defense lawyer Ben Brafman. The evening will be chaired by Rabbi Chaim Dovid Zwiebel.
The event begins with Mincha at 7:00 PM, followed by the main program. In addition to insightful speeches, there will be two audiovisual presentations and materials available for guests to take home. Most presentations will be in English, with some in Yiddish.
This gathering is particularly significant as we approach Tisha B’Av, a time for introspection and reaffirmation of our commitment to Torah ideals. It’s an opportunity to address our responsibilities to society and government and to highlight the importance of creating a kiddush Hashem.
The event is open to both men and women, and light snacks will be provided. Maariv will follow the event, which is expected to conclude between 9:45 and 10:30 PM.
