Today, on the 26th of Sivan, is the Yahrtzeit of Rav Yonason ben Uziel ZTL, author of targum.

It is a minhag to visit the kever on Rosh Chodesh and on the yahrtzeit of the Tzaddik, although yidden come all year round. Since the 17th century, it has been a makom for davening for a zivug hagun, for children, nachas from children, parnassah tova, refuah, and simcha.

Many bochurim and bnos Yisroel come to daven for a shidduch, as it is considered a segula to find one’s bashert within the year.
