Tesla is set to test Michelin’s latest airless tire technology on its vehicles.

Michelin’s airless tires, such as the Uptis, feature a flexible structure made of rubber and composite materials, eliminating the need for an inner air chamber. This innovation reduces the risk of flats, enhances reliability, and cuts down on waste.

Michelin’s CEO stated, “We have begun talks about testing Uptis airless tire technology on Tesla vehicles.”
