Powerball Ticket Worth $1M Sold at New Jersey Grocery Store

A $1 million Powerball ticket purchased in New Jersey for Monday’s lottery drawing was sold at the ShopRite on South Livingston Avenue in Livingston, Essex County, lottery officials announced Tuesday.

This ticket matched five numbers but missed the Powerball, making it the only second-prize winner nationwide. No tickets won the $45 million jackpot, so the prize for Wednesday’s drawing rises to $56 million with a $27 million cash option.

Monday’s winning numbers were 30, 48, 53, 58, 66, and the Powerball was 9 with a Power Play of 2x.
