The Maldives Has Decided to Ban Israelis From Entering The Country

The Maldives has banned the entry of Israeli passport holders following a cabinet decision led by President Mohamed Muizzu.

The island nation will amend its laws to enforce this ban and has appointed a special envoy to assess Palestinian needs while launching a fundraising campaign to assist Palestinian citizens through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees.

Additionally, a nationwide rally with the slogan “Maldivians in Solidarity with Palestine” will be held. This move follows the Maldives’ condemnation of Israeli strikes in Gaza.
