Today, the 23rd of Iyar, marks the Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Simcha HaKohen Kook ZT”L (1930-2022), Rav of the Churva Shul in the old city of Yerushalayim.
He was also the Chief Rabbi of Rechovot for decades & stood at the head of many educational institutions. The Great nephew of R’ Avraham Yitzchak Kook.
