Baruch Dayan Ha’emes, we regret to inform you of the Petirah of the world-renowned Chazzan Rabbi Bentzion Miller Z”L, who was 77. A talmid chacham and baal tefillah, he inspired countless Yidden with his golden voice and heartfelt tefillos.
Reb Bentzion, a Bobover chossid, served as a chazzan in multiple kehillos before taking on a decades-long position in Boro Park, where he was mashpia on doros through his chazzanus. His recordings and live performances spread the beauty of tefillah to Klal Yisrael worldwide.
After falling ill a few months ago, he was niftar early Monday morning. The levaya will be at 12:30 PM at Shomrei Hadas.
